The Space DJ
They call him the Forgotten Unbeatable. Zarx is a 5D being and a space DJ. He lives at the edge of his universe on a floating black slab, where a stepped pyramid's apex beam carries his sets to friends in other universes. He runs the Millennium Festival and plays it.
He was Zarutom's disciple, once. He got bored doing an old man's bidding and walked out to do his own thing. Zarutom has kept track of him ever since. Z9 says Zarx is stronger than Zarutom now, which would make him next in line, which is not a conversation Zarx wants to have.
His helmet has two faces: a grinning mask in front, a sigil plate behind. The grin is not something he switches on. It stays dark most of the time and lights only at the climax of a fight, or when he drops a beat — then goes dark again when the peak passes. While it is lit, his bite crystallises whatever it holds.
The grin was not always his. In Timeline-3 it was PRSM POPL's killer smile. Zarx won it in a fight, PRSM POPL sealed Zarx's essence into it, and when Zarx put it on it became his.
